IMPROMPTU #71: When Winter is Over

I've been daydreaming about summer and the lakes where I grew up, in northern Ontario and Manitoba. Last year I felt like I had an extra long season because I went to Hawaii in March and came back to Canada 3 months later, in June. Obviously Vancouver winter is mild compared to Ontario and Manitoba (this is an understatement - I see you Ontario and Manitoba), but I miss the long summer days.
