My friend Erin Kirsh and I were talking about almosts yesterday and she showed me this quote:
Write your almost.
What almost happened, how did your life turn on a hinge? Maybe you want to write a list of almosts and not quites and just abouts. Maybe you want to write your alternate scenario—if the thing that almost happened actually did happen.
